New Development Assistance Mechanisms in the Health Sector
Recent years have seen a proliferation of new approaches to organizing and delivering development assistance. This has particularly been the case in the health sector, with several new global health initiatives and global health partnerships recently being established. GFATM, MDGs, RBM, MCA, PRSPs… the acronyms alone can be overwhelming. These webpages offer an introductory guide to these new mechanisms through succinct descriptions of what they are, how they work and where they are operational, as well as providing links to relevant sites for additional reading.
